Probate Plus v3 installer
|
Base installation files for Probate Plus v3 client application.
Includes all files needed for stand-alone or network based installations.
If you want to evaluate this product, simply
download and install - the "evaluation" mode is activated
by default.
If you already have a HASP licence key, you can
switch to HASP licencing mode by selecting "Options..Registration
details" after you have installed the application.
If you wish to upgrade your data from Probate Plus v1 or v2 to
this new version, please contact the helpdesk. |

HASP Server
|
HASP licence manager server. (Includes HASP
device driver).
(IE where HASP is connected to a PC running a 32bit operating
system such as Windows 95,98,Me or NT/2000/2003/XP). Installs HASP
licence manager and device driver if needed. Can install licence
manager
as an NT/2000 /2003/XP service.
If you need to install the HASP onto a machine that is going to
act as the licence server, use this install utility. If installing
under NT4.0 / 2000 / 2003 / XP, select to install as a service.
If you're upgrading your licence manager, use LMSETUP to first
REMOVE your old licence manager then INSTALL the new one. Any problems,

HASP device driver
|
HASP device driver.
Update to v4.99 of the 32bit HASP device driver
for use with Probate Plus for Windows. This is for Windows 95,
98, Me, NT, 2000, 2003 and XP environments only. This device driver
supports Windows XP - the device driver from the current Probate
Plus distribution
CD does not and the HASP will not be located by Probate Plus.
To load, download and run HDD32.EXE then follow on-screen
instructions.

Document pack

is used to keep certain documents separate from the "base document
packs".
This add-on pack contains documents that are independent of envelope
or letter heading layout (such as oaths, stock transfer forms etc).
By installing the add-on pack you'll be able to update these documents
without affecting your existing documents that may have been customised
to fit headed notepaper etc. |

With this add-in you'll have a "Probate Plus v3" menu and a toolbar
in Microsoft Word. You can control functions of Probate Plus v3

PDF form support

Installs the Probate Plus PDF form support pack for
Adobe Acrobat. The PDF form support pack enables
Probate Plus to communicate with and fill-in a variety of common
PDF forms such as the IHT200, IHT205, IHT207, IHT35, IHT38 etc.
from the Capital Taxes Office.
Popular forms are now included in the form support pack and can
be optionally installed to your forms folder.
Note 1 : requires either the full version, or a file-and-print
version of Adobe Acrobat (such as "Acrobat Standard / Acrobat
Professional").
Will not work with the free "Acrobat Reader".
Note 2 : Probate Plus v3.5.7.582 or higher is required for proper
operation. |

Utility program
|
The utility program can perform various tasks on your
database files such as index corruption or damage and in most
cases can repair any problems found.
Database corruption with Probate Plus v3 is normally due to system
failure such as network problems or workstations crashing. If database
corruption becomes a repeat problem it will be worth moving to
the full client-server version of Probate Plus v3. Contact the
helpdesk for more details.
The utility can also rename matter references (to be used with
caution) and produce various system reports including a full address book report. |
IHT200 printing assistant
For : Windows (9x or higher) plus Acrobat 4.x / 5.x / 6.x / 7.x
Currently unavailable

The
standard IHT200_Comp form from the Inland Revenue does not allow
you to easily print a selection of the supporting schedules. Be sure that you've only ticked the "Yes" boxes you actually need on page 2 of the form. Ignore the "No" boxes completely.
The IHT200 printing assistant works around this limitation by only
printing the pages for the "D" supporting schedules that you have
selected.
